Fish House Restroom Renovation Project

 

Sealed bids and proposals for furnishing the following will be received at the Office of the Town Administrator, Swampscott Town Hall, 22 Monument Ave. Swampscott Massachusetts 01907 until the time specified below at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read. Each Bid must be accompanied by a bid security consisting of a BID BOND, CASH, or, CERTIFIED CHECK issued by a responsible bank or trust company in the amount of 5% of the bid price.

 

 

Pre-Bid Conference and Site Visit will be held at the Swampscott Fish House located at 425 Humphrey Street, Swampscott, MA 01907, on the following days & times:

 

 It is highly recommended that all prospective bidders have a representative in attendance.

 

All bids for this project are subject to applicable public bidding laws of Massachusetts, including, but not limited to G.L. c.149, §§44A-44H, as amended.

 

Attention is directed to the minimum prevailing wage rates to be paid as determined by the Commissioner of Labor and Workforce Development and the weekly payroll record submittal requirements under the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 149, Section 26 through 27D inclusive.

 

Also, Pursuant to Governor Baker’s March 12, 2020 Order Suspending Certain Provisions of the Open Meeting Law, G.L. c.30A, §18, and the Governor’s March 15, 2020 Order imposing strict limitation on the number of people that may gather in one place, the RFP Opening in connection with the above referenced procurements will be conducted via remote participation. Specific information and the general guidelines for remote participation by members of the public and/or parties with a right and/or requirement to attend this meeting can be found within this posting below. No in-person attendance of members of the public will be permitted, but every effort will be made to ensure that the public can adequately access the proceedings in real time, via technological means.

Please note that if accessing the bid opening online or on the smartphone app, you will be muted upon entering the meeting but can be unmuted to speak by using the “raise your hand” feature in the application.
