Snow Emergency in Effect on 2/1/21 at 3:00 PM

Due to the impending snowstorm, a snow emergency will be in effect from 3:00pm today (Monday, February 1) until 12:00pm tomorrow (Tuesday, February 2).
- All vehicles must be removed from streets to avoid the risk of being ticketed and/or towed.
- Please remember that all property owners are responsible for cleaning snow from adjoining sidewalks to avoid being ticketed.
- There will be no trash pick-up tomorrow (2/2/21). Trash pick-up will be delayed one day all week and Friday trash will be picked up on Saturday.
- Town Hall, Swampscott Library, and the Senior Center will be closing today as of 12:00 PM
According to the most recent report from the National Weather Service, this winter storm will bring heavy snow, strong winds, coastal flooding, and hazardous marine conditions.
