Select Board Seeks Volunteers to Serve on Solid Waste Advisory Committee

The Swampscott Select Board is seeking volunteers to serve on the newly formed Solid Waste Advisory Committee. This committee will consist of 9 voting members, including five (5) residents, the Director of Public Health (or designee), the Department of Public Works Commissioner (or designee), a representative from the Select Board, and a representative of the Board of Health. This committee will be charged with tracking results from Swampscott’s Solid Waste Policy and recommending to the Select Board, from time to time, potential changes/updates to Swampscott’s Solid Waste Policy to address changing solid waste and recycling markets, financial considerations and/or other conditions that may arise.
