Roadway Restrictions - Humphrey Street SummerFest Block Party

Swampscott will be celebrating its first Humphrey Street SummerFest Block Party on Saturday August 12. To assist with the festivities, the Police Department will be implementing a number of temporary roadway adjustments.

Starting at 10:00a on Saturday August 12th, the following streets will be closed to vehicular traffic:

• Humphrey Street – between Redington Street and Greenwood Avenue
• Blaney Street – entire street

Starting at 10:00a on Saturday August 12th, “No Parking” restrictions (for both street sides) will go into effect on the following streets:

• Humphrey Street – between Redington Street and Fuller Terrace

Vehicles that remain parked on Humphrey Street (between Redington Street and Fuller Terrace) after 10:00a on August 12 will be subject to ticketing and towed at the owner’s expense.

The above restrictions will be lifted by 5:00p on Saturday August 12th.

Residents and visitors are encouraged to park along the remainder of Humphrey Street and the Town Hall/Library parking lot to join in the festivities.
