Public Hearing : Plastics Regulation for Food Establishments

The Solid Waste Advisory Committee will be holding a public hearing to receive feedback on a newly drafted bylaw proposed for food establishments operating in the Town of Swampscott.  The bylaw offers comprehensive regulation for the use of single use containers, single use plastics accessories, recycling requirements and a new consumer advisory.  The committee actively seeks all public input before it submits a final recommendation to the Select Board and ultimately to the next Town Meeting at the end of this year.
