COMMUNITY MEETING: Specialized Energy Code Overview

The new Specialized Energy Code is a proposed Warrant Article coming before Town Meeting on March 11, 2024. Over 30 communities have already voted to adopt the Specialized Code, effective in January or July 2024. The purpose of the Specialized Energy Code is to reduce emissions in newly constructed buildings with a goal of achieving net-zero emissions.
