Swampscott Boat Wrap Recycling Pilot Program

The Town of Swampscott is offering free recycling of winter plastic wrap to resident boat owners. As a 2nd year program, we will have boat wrap recycle kits available for boat owners from Swampscott. Each kit can accommodate enough wrap for up to a 30 ft boat. Once again, this year there will be NO charge!

Starting March 22nd, any interested resident boat owner can pick up a kit at the Customer Service desk on the first floor of town hall (M-T-Th 8am-5pm, Wed 8am-7pm).

Strictly follow the directions on the back of this form when preparing your boat wrap for drop-off.

When the bag is full bring it to the Department of Public Works (DPW Yard), 200 Paradise Road and place it next to the “Boat Wrap” sign.

NOTE: FINAL DAY TO DROP OFF PROPERLY BAGGED KIT FULL OF ACCEPTABLE WRAP FOR RECYCLING WILL BE SATURDAY JUNE 24th

Kit includes:  one large clear bag w/boat wrap sticker attached, one zip tie, and this information page.

This program is brought to you through the efforts of the Swampscott Health Dept., Solid Waste Advisory Committee, DPW, and the Town Administrator's Office.
